Congratulations to Stephen Parrott, Class 39, who recently accepted a job as CFO at Fort Boise Produce. Fort Boise Produce is owned by Joe Farmer, Class 35, and his father Jim. Stephen has been employed by Northwest Farm Credit Services and based most recently in Nampa.
Congratulations to Ian Crawford, Class 32, who has been promoted to a new role within Simplot. Simplot Grower Solutions recently purchased Pinnacle Ag Holdings and Innvictis Crop Care now re-named CropLife #3. This makes Simplot the largest American owned ag retailer for crop inputs, fertilizer, ag chem, seed and technology, operating in 30 states with 230 locations. Ian’s new role with “sustainability” will help farmers participate in 4R nutrient stewardship through The Fertilizer Institute. With his new role, Ian was recently seated as chairman for CropLife America Sustainability Committee, an industry advocacy group for crop protection chemistry.
